La Mancha Ranch and Orchard (Certified Organic)

At LaMancha Ranch and Orchard, David Landis and Anita Azarenko grow apples, sweet and tart cherries, peaches, apricots, pears, table grapes, asparagus, and hazelnuts. About a quarter of an acre of cherries, apricots, and table grapes are grown under high tunnels. Our goal is to continue to identify varieties of tree fruit and hazelnuts that grow well in the Willamette Valley with the least amount of inputs, are disease resistant or tolerant, produce adequate amount of fruit that meet consumer expectations, and come with good taste and condition.

Our sustainability practices are many and include being a certified organic farm, supplying food locally, conservation pollinator and beneficial insect hedges, drip irrigation, and cover crop management. We love playing a role in creating and growing healthy fruit and hazelnuts that people enjoy, and being part of the natural world!
